Here’s what you have to look forward to: This four-week series is conducted in a serene setting and will help you to prepare your body, mind and spirit for your labor and child’s birth. Each week you will be guided through postures, breathing practices, and meditations to help you deepen your connection to yourself and your baby during this time of transformation.
Are you new to yoga and wondering how Prenatal Yoga Davidson would benefit you?
Postures will of course help you stretch and strengthen but additionally: they will help you keep your pelvic floor strong, ease your digestion, and prepare the body for labor.
Breathing practices during pregnancy are an incredibly powerful tool and one Brianna will try to inspire you to do every day during your pregnancy. A breath practice is invaluable during labor.
Meditation is a remarkable practice and is by definition a state of relaxation. This amazing tonic for the body, mind and spirit will help you to come to center during your pregnancy
What does the series include?
- Four classes that interweave: Hatha yoga, discussion, restorative yoga, breath work, meditation, chanting, progressive relaxation, Reiki, and sound healing with crystal signing bowls.
- All props for weekly practices at the studio.
- An intimate community that will provide you with a safe space to share your personal experiences.
- Homework to include: personal practice, readings, and online modules*.
Thursdays in February (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th)
6:30pm to 8pm
Requirements: Please be mindful that you must be a minimum of 14 weeks pregnant to participate in this series. Brianna will also require a doctor’s note.
*Preregistration by January 20th is required. No refunds will be given after January 20th.
The class is limited to 5 soon to be mamas.
Brianna is a teacher of yoga teachers. She has been offering prenatal yoga – on and off – for the better part of 12 years. In addition to her yogic training and experience, Brianna also studied with Marie Mongan on Hypnobirthing.
